The Amsterdam Hall of Fame Committee has announced the 2015 inductees into the Amsterdam Baseball / Mohawks Baseball Hall of Fame.  The four will be honored at a dinner on Saturday January 31 at St. Mary's Institute.  Over 350 guests typically attend the dinner and is expected to be near a sellout again.

Former Amsterdam legend Costa Lazarou who played for the Chicago Cubs and managed the Amsterdam Rugmakers pro team along with former youth coach Jim Minch, who coached in the local youth leagues for 35 years will make up the Amsterdam inductees. Former players Rick Pacione and Mike Puckli will be inducted on the Mohawks side.  Both Puckli and Pacione played at Marist College. Puckli has the second most saves in Mohawks history while Pacione is currently a coach and bullpen catcher with the Cleveland Indians Major League team. 

Jack McKeon, former World Series Manager of the Florida Marlins will serve as the keynote speaker of the event.  McKeon will speak of his playing days at Shuttleworth Park (them known as Mohawk Mills Park) as a youth playing professional bseball.

Tickets for the evening are $45 and include a coacktail hour from 5:00-6:30, a full dinner, and autograph/picture time with McKeon. The evening also has both a silent and live auction.
