Last Night’s Games:

Albany 3 Saugerties 0 (Game One): The Albany Dutchmen scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning to beat the Saugerties Stallions, 3-0, in game one of what was scheduled to be a doubleheader. 

In the bottom of the first, Zach Remillard hit an RBI ground-rule double, Sean Aspinall hit an RBI single to right field and Michael Fitzsimmons hit an RBI double to center field to score Sean Aspinall for the third and final run of the game. 

Nick Cioffi tossed six scoreless innings with six strikeouts and just two hits allowed in earning the win for Albany. Phil Zdanowski gave up the three Albany runs in five innings of work in taking the loss. 

Saugerties at Albany (Game Two): The game was cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

Utica at Mohawk Valley: The game was postponed and will be made-up in a doubleheader on July 26.

Glens Falls at Amsterdam: The game was postponed and will be made-up in a doubleheader on July 24.

Elmira at Adirondack: The game was postponed and will be made-up in a doubleheader on July 26.

Victor at Newark: The game was postponed and will be made-up in a doubleheader on July 26.

Tonight’s Games:

Mohawk Valley at Utica (DH) 5 p.m.: A night after having a game in Little Falls postponed between the two teams, Mohawk Valley and Utica will meet in Utica for a doubleheader on Friday. 

Adirondack at Amsterdam 6:35 p.m.: The first place team in the East Division will travel to Boonville to take on the last place team in the West Division on Friday. 

Glens Falls at Albany 7:05 p.m.: Coming off a win against Saugerties on Thursday, the Albany Dutchmen will look to stay in the win column on Friday against Glens Falls.  

Saugerties at Newark 7:05 p.m.: The Saugerties Stallions will look to break a four-game losing streak as they travel to Colburn Park to take on the Newark Pilots. 

Victor at Elmira 7:05 p.m.: The top two teams in the West Division will meet in Elmira as the Elmira Pioneers take on the Victor RailRiders at Dunn Field.
