Little Falls, New York – The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs are pleased to announce that 2015 Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) championship winning coach Blake Nation will return for his third season as head coach of the Dawgs. Coach Nation led the 2015 Mohawk Valley DiamondDawg to its first PGCBL championship last season as well as setting a franchise record in wins finishing 32-18.  The 2015 championship winning Dawgs finished ranked 16th in the country among Summer Collegiate baseball teams and ranked #1 in New York State.

“This is the guy we want coaching our team and after the final pitch of the championship game that was our first priority – to bring back our great coaching staff. Coach Nation’s track record obviously speaks for itself”, said team owner Travis Heiser.  “Having Coach Nation back for a third year will give this franchise the competitive edge we need to continue to remain on top year in and year out in this league.  What Coach Nation and his staff accomplished last year is a result of the hard work, dedication and work ethic that these men bring to the table.  As the owner of the DiamondDawgs, these are the men I want leading this franchise to our next championship and having them on board again will benefit our players tremendously as they are not only coaches but leaders and educators of the great game of baseball.
