The DiamondDawgs got out to a 2-0 lead in the third inning on a Garret Kelly RBI double and a Sean Mazzio RBI single. Adirondack tied it in the home half on a Chuck Hoover RBI single and a sacrifice fly. Nick Bernick gave the Trail Blazers the lead in the fourth with an RBI double. In the fifth, though, a sacrifice fly and a Sean Mazzio two-run home run gave the DiamondDawgs the lead for good. Anthony Rupp pitched well over five innings to earn the win for Mohawk Valley as Zachary Vennaro notched the save. Josh Partridge took the loss for Adirondack. It took 12 innings but the Adirondack Trail Blazers beat the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs, 3-2, to salvage a split of a doubleheader in Boonville. The Trail Blazers took a 2-0 lead into the sixth inning before Mohawk Valley plated lone runs in the sixth and seventh to tie the game. Then in the 12th, Justin Lebek hit an RBI single to give Adirondack the win. Jake Lane got the win for Adirondack as Jon Sell took the loss for Mohawk Valley. The Albany Dutchmen scored four runs in two different innings to beat the Oneonta Outlaws, 8-7, on the road. The Outlaws scored lone runs in the first and second innings and then plated five runs in the third to take a 7-0 lead. Then in the fourth, the Dutchmen scored four to make it a three-run game and plated four more in the fifth to take the lead for good and complete the big comeback. Ryan Steffens tossed 1.2 scoreless innings to earn the win for the Dutchmen as Troy Montemayor notched the save. Antonio Baglivo took the loss for Oneonta. With the win, the Dutchmen clinched a spot in the PGCBL postseason. The game was postponed and will not be rescheduled. Glens Falls 5 Saugerties 4 A four-run sixth inning allowed the Glens Falls Dragons to come back and beat the Saugerties Stallions, 5-4, at East Field. The Dragons got the scoring started in the first inning on a bases loaded walk. Saugerties tied it in the third and took the lead in the sixth before Glens Falls plated four in the home half of the sixth on a Drew Greenwood RBI single, a Dave Hoffman two-run single and a sacrifice fly. A Jacob Yish two-run single in the eighth brought Saugerties within a run but it wasn’t enough. Peter Masterson tossed 7.1 innings of three-run ball to earn the win for the Dragons as Joe Jones notched the save. Nate Popiel took the loss. The game was postponed and will not be rescheduled.
