BOONVILLE — Adirondack High School senior catcher Connor Hamilton is fulfilling his dream of playing at the Division I level as he has signed a national letter of intent to play baseball at the University of West Virginia on Monday afternoon.
“His main goal has been to play college baseball,” his parents Chuck and Colleen Hamilton said Monday after an assembly honoring their son’s achievement. “It’s definitely been worth all of the sacrifices and traveling.”
All of Hamilton’s hard work has made him the No. 1 catching recruit in New York State and the No. 6 overall recruit coming out of the state, according to Perfect Game Baseball League.
