Throughout the season, the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League will be recognizing a Player and Pitcher of the Night on each game day.

Player of the Night: Jeff Timko, Jamestown (Eastern Michigan)

Timko sparked Jamestown's victory over previously undefeated Elmira, hitting two singles and a double in the Jammers' 9-5 win. Both singles from the Eastern Michigan product drove in runs, with the third coming on a sacrifice fly. Jamestown scored in six of their eight at-bats in the win. With four runs batted in on the season, Timko leads the now-division leading Jammers. He also leads the team in doubles (3) and hits (5).

Pitcher of the Night: James Rubino, Albany (Hudson Valley CC)

In his first start of the 2018 season, Rubino kept the Dragons off-balance, and guided the Dutchmen to a second consecutive victory. The HVCC product worked the first five innings of the contest, and struck out five hitters. He allowed just a sole run on three hits, and exited the game with Albany holding a 4-1 lead. He threw 41 of his 69 pitches for strikes, and left four Dragon runners on base in the Dutchmen's 5-3 victory at East Field.
