Throughout the season, the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League will be recognizing a Player and Pitcher of the Night on each game day.

Player of the Night: Joshua Bozoian, Watertown (Union)

The 10-win Watertown Rapids scored in double digits for the fourth time this season, and were led by the offensive efforts of their cleanup hitting right fielder. Bozoian went 4-for-6 with four runs scored and five runs batted in during Watertown's 19-4 victory over Adirondack. He hit a home run for the second game in a row, a three-run shot that started the Rapids' nine run first inning. He also added an RBI single in the same inning, and drove in his fifth run of the night on a fielder's choice in the eighth. The Chino Hills, California native has recorded three consecutive multi-hit games for the Central Division leaders.

Pitcher of the Night: Mike Bovenzi, Utica (Suffolk CC)

In the first game of Sunday's doubleheader between the Utica Blue Sox and the Geneva Red Wings, Utica righthander Mike Bovenzi kept the Wings off balance in a 2-1 Blue Sox win. Bovenzi worked into the seventh inning, allowing only an unearned run on two hits. The Suffolk CC product struck out two hitters in his longest outing of the season, which saw him pick up his first victory in a Utica uniform. Bovenzi has not allowed an unearned run in his two starts this season, tossing 10.2 innings with zero earned runs allowed as a starter. The victory dropped his season ERA for the Blue Sox to 3.52.
