Throughout the season, the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League will be recognizing a Player and Pitcher of the Night on each game day.

Player of the Night: Elvis Peralta, Amsterdam (Marshall)

Peralta helped move the Amsterdam Mohawks one win away from the East Division championship on Friday night, as the Marshall infielder drove in five runs in a 12-3 victory for the Amsterdam Mohawks over the Glens Falls Dragons. The shortstop belted a three-run homer in the top of the second, and added a two-run triple in the top of the seventh. Peralta finished the contest 2-for-4 with two runs scored and five RBIs. In 37 games for the Mohawks this season, Peralta has driven in 28 runs, and has recorded 22 extra base hits while hitting .310 and stealing 13 bases.

Pitcher of the Night: Anthony Germinerio, Saugerties (UAlbany)

In just his fourth appearance of the season, Germinerio turned in a pitching performance that kept the Saugerties Stallions in the playoff hunt. The UAlbany commit entered Saugerties' matchup with the Oneonta Outlaws in the sixth inning with the game tied at two, and worked three scoreless innings to shut down the Oneonta offense. The righthander picked up his first victory of the season, striking out two batters while allowing only one hit. In seven innings on the mound this season, the Troy, New York native has allowed only one hit, and has recorded six strikeouts.
