During the postseason, the PGCBL is recognizing one player from each series as its Most Outstanding Player.
PGCBL Semifinals Most Outstanding Player: Brandon Nania, Jamestown (Winston-Salem State)
Brandon Nania played a major role in both of Jamestown's victories over the Geneva Red Wings in the PGCBL Semifinals. In Game 1, the infielder provided the game winning hit, a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth. He also added an RBI single in the first inning of that game. After reaching base twice and scoring a run in Jamestown's Game 2 loss, Naia went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and an RBI in Saturday's decisive Game 3 victory. The Winston-Salem State product reached base four times, and pushed his playoff on base percentage to .571. On the series, Naia went 4-for-10, scoring four runs and driving in three while reaching base eight times.
A Most Outstanding Player award for the PGCBL Finals will be awarded upon the conclusion of the series.
