BRANDON MAGALLONES RHP NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY
Freshman right hander has pitched well in his rookie season. He has a 3-0 record with 23 innings pitched with 11 walks and 23 strikeouts. In his most recent outing on Sunday against Long Island, he threw eight innings, allowed only four hits, three earned runs, walked two and struck out nine LIU batters to garner his third win.
JOHN ROONEY OF SIENA COLLEGE
John is hitting .328 (19-for-58) in 19 games with three doubles, two triples and 10 RBI. He went 2-for-3 vs. Memphis on March 17 with a double, one run scored and an RBI. He had a 2-for-4 with a stolen base against Memphis in game two of a doubleheader that same day. John was 2-for-3 with two RBI on 3/14 against Vanderbilt. He went 2-for-4 with an RBI vs. Lipscomb on 3/12.
TONY URBAN LHP LOUISBURG COLLEGE
Tony has a 5-0 record for the # 1 ranked NJCAA team in the nation. He has pitched 33 innings, allowing only 22 hits, walked 11 and struck out 32 batters. He has a microscopic 0.82 ERA and holds hitters to a .176 average. In his last outing vs. Pitt CC, he pitched a shutout, allowed five hits, walked one and struck out six.
KEVIN MEYERS INF NORTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA A & M
Kevin has experienced great success as a freshman, putting up great numbers as a clean up hitter and playing well defensively. He is batting .375 with five doubles, four home runs and 21 RBI in 18 games. He had a 2-for-2 game with a double, homer and three RBI vs. Central Lakes CC. On March 8th vs. Coffeyville CC he went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, two homers and six RBI.
RYAN PETERSON RHP YAVAPAI COLLEGE
Ryan has thrown the most innings (46) on the staff and has the second lowest ERA (3.13) of the weekend starters. He has allowed 42 hits, 16 earned runs, walking only five and striking out 34 batters. In his last outing vs. El Paso CC he pitched a complete game victory, striking out eight El Paso batters.
MIKE VIGLIAROLO INF SAINT LOUIS UNIVERSITY
Mike has surged offensively of late with a highlight performance vs. Southeast Missouri on March 6th when he was 3-for-5 with two runs scored, three RBI and his first collegiate homer, a three run shot in the second inning. He went 1-for-3 with a two run homer vs. Western Illinois and was 2-for-3 vs. Tennessee-Martin in the past week. He is hitting .324 with two homers and 12 RBI.
NICK PIVETTA RHP NEW MEXICO JUNIOR COLLEGE
Weekend rotation starter for NMJC this spring and an elite performer for the Canadian Junior National Team the last two years. His most recent start was against Frank Phillips College when he pitched 7 1/3 innings of scoreless baseball, allowing only five hits, walking two and striking out three. He has an ERA of 4.50 on the season.
DANNY BRENNAN OUTFIELDER SAINT LOUIS UNIVERSITY
Danny has come on strong of late with a record performance vs. Southeast Missouri when he recorded seven at bats to tie an SLU record. He was 4-for-7 with three runs scored and three RBI. He had another excellent performance vs. Western Illinois on March 16th when he went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, a double and a stolen base. Danny is hitting .378 (17-for-45) with one double and three RBI.
NEIL FRYER RHP SIENA COLLEGE
Neil is being utilized in late inning/close situations for the Saints. He has a team low 3.97 ERA, appearing in six games and pitching 11 1/3 innings. Neil’s highlight performance was against Memphis on March 16th in a 6-3 Siena victory, his first win of the season. He pitched three scoreless innings, allowing only two hits, walking two and striking out two Memphis batters.
CHRIS KING C/1B/DH LOUISBURG COLLEGE
Chris has continued his high performance level throughout the season. He is batting .381 (32-for-84) with 13 doubles, one triple, four homers and a team leading 31 RBI. He has a team leading slugging percentage of .702. Chris had a 2-for-5 game with two doubles and an RBI vs. Owens CC on 3/3 and went 2-for-3 with a double, homer and three RBI vs. Owens CC on March 4.
EMMANUEL FORCIER OF NEW MEXICO JUNIOR COLLEGE
Emmanuel is hitting .413 (31-for-75) through 19 games with two doubles, three triples, three homers and 19 RBI. He leads the NMJC team in batting average, at bats, runs, hits, home runs, RBI, and total bases. He also has six stolen bases in seven attempts. Emmanuel has six multi-hit games this season.
JARED CHEEK RHP GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY
Jared has made seven appearances out of the bullpen so far this spring season. He has the third lowest ERA (3.60) on the staff. He has pitched 10 innings and hitters are only batting .270 against his offerings. Jared has pitched in relief in two Southern Conference games and has not allowed a run.
CHASE GRIFFIN C/IF/OF GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY
Chase had a highlight performance on March 17 against North Carolina-Greensboro when he hit a three run home run in the second inning and added singles in the fourth and eighth inning to complete a 3-for-4 game with four RBI. He has two home runs and seven RBI so far this season.
ALBERTO MORALES INF CLARENDON COLLEGE
Alberto has played in 23 games and has at least one hit in 18 games and has six multi-hit games. He is batting .338 (27-for-80) with six doubles, two triples , one home run and 25 RBI. He has at least one RBI in 16 games this season.
TIM DEAN RHP TACOMA COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Tim notched his first collegiate win on March 10 vs. Walla Walla Community College. He pitched six innings and allowed only two hits, one run and walked one batter. He pitched in relief on March 17,, getting save # 1 with a one inning stint of scoreless baseball. On March 18 he pitched a perfect eighth inning to lower his ERA to 1.13.
TAYLER SAUCEDO LHP TACOMA COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Tayler started a game vs. Olympia College on March 17 and went four and one third innings, allowed only three hits, one earned run, walked three and struck out two in a no decision outing.
CASEY RODRIGUE INF LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY-EUNICE
Casey is batting .317 (19-for-60) with 10 RBI through 25 games for the # 1 ranked NJCAA Division II program.
He has eight stolen bases in nine attempts.
DYLAN BOSHEERS INF TENNESSEE TECH UNIVERSITY
Highly regarded recruit who has played every day as a freshman. Dylan has three home runs, two doubles and 11 RBI through 19 games.
BUDDY PUTNAM INF/OF UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA
Highly regarded recruit out of Bartow HS. He is hitting .244 with four RBI in 13 starts. Buddy was 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI vs. Lafayette on March 17 and went 1-for-3 with an RBI vs. Eastern Illinois on March 11.
MIKE CLARKSON RHP UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA
Mike has pitched in three games in his freshman season at USF. He has thrown 4 1/3 innings, given up six hits and has a 6.23 ERA.
