Enos batted .500 (5-for-10) over three games and drove in four runs. He totaled four singles, a double and a sacrifice fly. The junior had at least one hit in all three contests and posted two multiple-hit games. On the opening day of the Red Storm tournament, the Stockton, Calif., native drove in the winning run with a tenth-inning sacrifice fly as HC edged UAlbany 10-9. Enos closed out the weekend with two hits and two RBI in another win over the Great Danes.

Carson Newman University senior Kyle Koeneman (Amsterdam 2010) slugged his way to the South Atlantic Conference Player of the Week award. Carson Newman compiled a 4-1 record for the week with four-straight wins over North Georgia and Mars Hill. Koeneman batted .438 (7-for-16) with three home runs and nine RBI. The senior scored seven runs and drove in three scores via sacrifice fly. He knocked in at least one run in all five games and crossed the plate in four of five tilts. The Seymour, Tenn., home clocked home runs in back-to-back games against North Georgia and then belted his third clout in the week in the second game of a series with Mars Hill.

SUNY New Paltz junior Chris Chismar (Cooperstown 2011) has been selected Pitcher of the Week by the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC). The 2011 SUNYAC Pitcher of the Year tossed seven shutout innings and struck out seven in a victory over St. Lawrence in Fort Myers, Fla. Chismar scattered six hits and walked two in his third start of the spring. With seven strikeouts, Chismar became the all-time strikeout leader at SUNY New Paltz. In three seasons, the Lindenhurst, N.Y., native has 168 strikeouts.

Ave Maria University freshman Ethan Striz (Newark 2011) earned the Pitcher of the Week award in the NAIA’s Sun Conference. The Lakeland, Fla., native tossed his second complete game of the season and became the first Gyrenes pitcher to work a complete game shutout this season.
