The Newark Pilots in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League have signed two impact arms for the 2013 campaign. Both experienced righties, Lengel and Speigner will help anchor a strong staff this season.

Lengal, a sophomore at Brigham Young appeared in 12 games for the Cougars last year as a freshman, while posting a 3.86 era and earning a win in relief against Santa Clara. He is projected to be a big part of the Cougars pitching staff this spring and will give them a boost out of the bullpen and in spot starts. This 6’3” pitcher boasts a strong fastball and commands the zone well. “He will have a large impact for the Pilots this coming summer, and I look forward to working with him,” says Coach Mike Armstrong.
