For the third time this season, the first coming on June 11 and the second on June 25, every scheduled game in the PGCBL was postponed. In the first three seasons of the PGCBL, that had only happened three times: June 12, 2012, July 26, 2012 and June 7, 2013.

To update on the re-scheduling of games:

The Watertown/Utica game scheduled for last night will not be made up because the only remaining date the teams face each other is July 26, which would require the Brewers to play more than two consecutive doubleheaders.

The Amsterdam/Mohawk Valley game scheduled for last night will be made up on July 19 in Amsterdam as part of a doubleheader. Both games will be seven innings and first pitch for game one is scheduled for 5:05 p.m.

The Elmira/Albany game scheduled for last night will not be made up because the two teams do not face each other again in the 2014 PGCBL regular season.

The Glens Falls/Adirondack game scheduled for last night will not be made up because the two teams do not face each other again in the 2014 PGCBL regular season.

Tonight’s games:

Albany at Glens Falls 7:00 p.m.

The Albany Dutchmen will travel to Glens Falls on Monday for an East Division battle. The teams have squared off four teams this season and the series is split. First pitch at East Field is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Amsterdam at Watertown 7:00 p.m.

While the Amsterdam Mohawks have sole possession of first place in the East, Watertown is tied with Newark for first in the West. The two teams will face one another in Watertown on Monday for the second time this season. Amsterdam won the first meeting at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds, 6-2. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Elmira at Newark 7:05 p.m.

The Elmira Pioneers will travel to the friendly confines of Colburn Park to take on the Newark Pilots in a game between the West’s second place team and co-leader. Newark and Watertown are just a half-game ahead of Elmira. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

Utica at Adirondack 7:15 p.m.

The Utica Brewers will make the trip down Route 12 to take on division rival Adirondack. The two teams met on Saturday in Utica, with the Trail Blazers shutting out the Brewers, 2-0. First pitch at the Robert Smith Sports Complex is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
