Here’s a look back at the scores from around the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) on Sunday, June 25:

Jamestown (15-5) 4, Elmira (7-13) 3
The Pioneers held a 3-2 lead over the host Jammers heading into the eighth inning, but the West Division leaders scored once in the eighth to tie the game before walking off in the ninth. Nick Bernick (Niagara) led off the eighth with a walk and was replaced by pinch-runner Jimmy Standohar (Mercyhurst), who moved to second on a sac bunt, took third on a base hit, and scored when Elmira first baseman Conor Grammes (Xavier) threw wildly past home plate after fielding a foul fly out. In the ninth, Collin Stack (UMBC) led off with a base hit. He came around to score the winning run after back-to-back bunt singles, the latter of which was followed by another errant throw, allowing Stack to trot home from third.

Geneva (14-6) 4, Oneonta (6-13) 2
The Red Wings maintained their pace behind the division-leading Jammers with a tight win over the Outlaws at McDonough Park. Geneva opened the first inning with three straight singles before scoring the first run of the contest on a fielder’s choice. Dominic Toso (Bucknell) helped the Red Wings take a 3-0 lead in the second inning with an RBI double, one of his game-high four hits on the day. Oneonta cut the deficit to 3-2 in the sixth with a pair of runs, but three Geneva relievers combined to shut down the Outlaws after that. Jordan Murphy (UT Dallas) got the start and the win, after giving up two runs (one earned) on five hits in 5.1 innings for the Red Wings.

Onondaga (12-6) 9, Newark (4-15) 3
The Flames held a tight 4-3 advantage over the Pilots heading into the bottom of the eighth inning, but exploded for five runs in the frame to thwart any comeback chances Newark had on its mind. Trey Baur (Cornell) kick-started the scoring onslaught by smacking a one-out double, one of five extra-base hits for Onondaga in the game. On the mound, Trent Schulte (Gonzaga) came out of the bullpen and tossed 4.0 scoreless innings with four strikeouts to secure the win, his first of the summer campaign. Newark’s Pen-Fei Wang (Vanung) was saddled with the loss after surrendering four runs and striking out six in 7.0 innings.

Albany (11-7) 6, Glens Falls (7-13) 4
The Dutchmen needed a three-run eighth inning to overcome a 4-3 deficit and defeat the Dragons at Siena Field on Sunday. In the top of the eighth, Glens Falls’ Anthony Vaglica (LIU Post) slugged a solo home run to give his club a one-run lead, but three consecutive two-out RBI singles in the home half of the frame allowed Albany to complete the comeback. Nick Gallo (Oklahoma State) plated the tying run, while Brant Holland (North Alabama) drove in the winning run for one of his game-high three RBIs. Sean Boyle (Dallas Baptist) worked around a two-out base hit in the top of the ninth by striking out the side for the save.
