Ithaca Bomber Star Sam Little to Play for the Onondaga Flames Next Summer

The Onondaga Flames announced today that they have signed Ithaca College star Sam Little to play in the 2017 summer season. Named New York Region Rookie of the Year and Third Team All-Region, Sam was also voted Empire 8 Conference Rookie of the Year and First Team honoree as well as being named to Empire 8 All-Tournament Team as an Outfielder.

Little Started in all 42 games for the Bombers in his freshman year and logged 41 RBIs to compliment his .329 batting average.
Playing for the Syracuse Junior Chiefs (NYCBL) last summer, Sam had a slash line of .263/.382/.373 with an OPS of .754 He had 2 HRs and 24 RBIs in 43 games. An excellent performance for a freshman.

A sports management major, he is the son of Bill and Missy Little of Fayetteville. Sam’s twin brother, Webb, is also a member of the Bomber baseball team and will also play for the Flames next summer.
