Interns will have daily contact with the Director of Communications and the rest of the team to discuss assignment, responsibilities and goals, and they will be expected to contribute content on their own remotely or at games they choose to attend.
Qualifications: Candidates should have prior experience in communications (print/digital journalism majors encouraged), graphic and video design, and/or social media management. Knowledge of baseball and the league are a must, as is the ability to credibly research and produce professionally written material. The successful candidates will also be versed in social media trends and be able to contribute new, innovative ways in which to boost the league’s presence in those areas.
Benefits: The internship will offer college credit and will work with the intern on any applicable paperwork, evaluations and certifications.
