Week 4 Players of the Week Announced as 2026 Season Nears Midpoint
East Division
Co-Pitchers of the Week: Colin Richardson, Glens Falls (Adelphi University)
Tyson Harmon, Boonville (Young Harris University)
Player of the Week: Aiden Dill, Amsterdam (Seton Hall University)
Colin Richardson put the Dragons on his back on Tuesday night. The rising sophomore pitched a complete game in a 3-2 victory at home in Glens Falls over the Oneonta Outlaws. He struck out 8 over 9 innings and only allowed one walk. Richardson has a 2-1 record with a 3.60 ERA in 20.0 innings pitched on the season.
Tyson Harmon was the lights out closer for Boonville this week. In a 3-1 victory over Mohawk Valley and a 4-3 win at Utica, Harmon went 3 up and 3 down in both games and even struck out the side in order to hold the one-run lead for the win over the Blue Sox.
The Amsterdam Mohawks win streak now sits at 13 straight games after going 5-0 this week, and two-time honoree Aiden Dill was a big reason for that success. Dill earned his second Player of the Week honors this season after he hit .769 this past week with 10 hits in 13 at-bats. Dill hit 2 doubles, 1 triple and 2 home runs with 9 RBI, 12 runs scored and stole 5 bases.
Dill went 3-for-3 with a triple and a home run in a 16-3 win over Saugerties, 4-for-5 with 2 doubles in a 21-13 win over Utica, 1-for-3 with a home run in a 15-0 win over Boonville and 2-for-2 in a 17-5 win over Mohawk Valley. He has a .418 batting average over the course of the season and is third in the league with 27 RBI.
West Division
Pitcher of the Week: Luke Richards, Elmira (Alfred State University)
Player of the Week: Darek Staudt, Olean (Mercyhurst University)
Elmira's Luke Richards went 2-0 this past week, picking up wins over Geneva and Niagara Falls. He threw 12 innings, allowing 1 unearned run with 11 strikeouts and just 3 walks as hitters had a .098 batting average against.
On Tuesday, Richards entered the game with his team trailing 6-2. He threw the final 5 innings allowing 2 hits and 1 walk while striking out 6 as the Pioneers rallied for a 12-7 win.
Then on Sunday, Richards pitched in the first game of a doubleheader and threw a complete game shutout over Niagara Falls. He went all 7 innings allowing 2 hits and 2 walks with 5 strikeouts.
Olean went 3-1 this past week as Darek Staudt hit .714 with a double, a triple and a home run. In just four games and seven at-bats, Staudt drove in 8 runs. He hit an RBI triple in an 11-6 win over Niagara Falls, went 3-for-4 with a double, a homer and 5 RBI in a 15-8 win over Auburn, and went 1-for-2 with an RBI in an 11-0 win over Geneva.
